Human Centered Design Workshop
Led by Deb Zell
Thursday, July 31, 1pm
In this interactive workshop, we’ll dive into the principles of human-centered design—examining everyday behaviors and common
product pain points to uncover what transforms a good item into one people can’t live without.
Human centered design practices teach designers to:
-Wear-test prototypes and interview real users
-Unlock the difference between “I like it” and “I reach for it every day”
-Create completely new categories of products
Whether it’s the jacket you never wear because the collar itches, the bag that constantly slips off your shoulder, or a new, never before seen product, we’ll explore how to spot (and solve) these everyday frustrations and opportunities to create products people genuinely want to use.
